I would never tell anyone to fast as a nurse but I fast and feel their are many heatlh and spiritual benefits. Some people would be at risk to fast so we must be careful about making broad statements. Why don't people look at healthy ways to lose weight instead of drastic measures that can do more harm. Alkalizing has helped many people to lose weight along with some lifestyle changes such as some exercise and better eating choices.
